Shading with Spectrum Noir pencils
I went on one of Barbara Gray's Clarity retreats recently, and one of the best things I came away with was more confidence about using my Spectrum Noir pencils.
The concept of 1/4, 1/2, 3/4, and light feathery strokes all going in the same direction only really sunk in when I was doing it myself.
