Douglas

This evening I was on a mission: I needed to make a birthday card, and a blokey one at that.

Fuelled by Stamping Sensations - One for the Guys, and Sketch Saturday #351 off I went. Douglas is one of the Clarity characters.

Last but not least, he fits nicely into Simon Say's Monday's "B is for ..." challenge. In my case (and my card making) B is for Birthdays.

Breathed a sigh of relief, a nice guy card that can go in the post tomorrow.

    I really enjoyed this card! I was so impressed at the clever visual concept and have never seen anything quite like it. The silhouette you created is stunning and I love how you brought it to life with the glowing light of the street lamp. Brilliant to make the yellow extend beyond the lamp itself! It's always a struggle to create manly cards, so I always appreciate a fresh and original take on these. This one is quite remarkable and I'm so glad you shared it with us for this week's Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog!
